Friday, April 8th was a big day at Johnson Hall! After years of fundraising, we celebrated that the interior construction will begin in April 2022. This is Phase Two, the final phase, of the full renovation project.
Thank you to all who have supported us by donating toward this historic renovation project.
Thank you to Congressman Jared Golden for speaking at our event and for support for Congressionally Directed Spending funds for this project, together with U.S. Senator Susan Collins and Senator Angus S. King, Jr.
Thank you to Mayor Pat Hart, State Representative Thom Harnett, our City, and all who live, work, and volunteer here.
Thank you to Andrew Silsby and Kennebec Savings Bank for sharing in our vision, being the first in with support in June of 2016 and continuing to speak on our behalf.
Thank you to Denise Reehl, Benny Reehl, Logan Johnston, Phyllis Gardiner for having the vision along with so many others who have worked tirelessly over the years to get to where we are today.
Together, we make this a wonderful community to be in. Here’s to the future of Johnson Hall, Gardiner and Central Maine. Cheers!
