4th Annual Give Your Voice Fundraiser/Competition

Johnson Hall Opera House (JHOH) is thrilled to announce our first live auditions for the Give Your Voice for Giving Tuesday Competition and Fundraiser!

On September 5th, 2024, join us at the Logan Theater in Johnson Hall Opera House to showcase your talent by singing an original song or a cover of your choice. You may perform with a musician, or you can use a backing track. If using a track, please submit it on a flash drive to our Box Office at least one day in advance, along with your name and contact information.

If you’re unable to attend the live audition, don’t worry—we’re still accepting recordings! Please send your submission to maureen@johnsonhall.org by November 1st, 2024. JHOH will select 10-12 contestants, who will then be invited to record a video/audio performance.

For Selected Contestants – What to Expect:

A week before Giving Tuesday, the videos will be posted on our social media platforms with a link for supporters to donate to our cause. The two contestants who raise the most funds will win a prize. In April 2025, these contestants will have the chance to perform on the Reehl Stage in our newly renovated 400-seat theater. This is a fantastic opportunity for artists of all ages—everyone is welcome to audition!

Johnson Hall is a non-profit performing arts organization. The funds raised from this event will support our operational expenses, programming (including family, comedy, and musical performances), SPARK Theater Camp, Artists in the Schools, and free waterfront concerts. We’re also launching exciting new initiatives to further serve our community and the Kennebec region.
