Maine Event Comedy Presents Carolyn Plummer
April 20 @ 7:30 pm
From the Logan Stage: Maine Event Comedy presents 20-year comedy veteran Carolyn Plummer at Johnson Hall Opera House on Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 pm. The show will also feature Crystal Bernard, Uzair Malik, Nic Dufault, and Ann-Marie Keene.
Plummer pulls material from life’s hum-drum, day-to-day monotony and puts a nail through the heart of whiners, self-loathers, and the self-sorry of the world. Her twisted perception of our common existence earned her a spot on Denis Leary’s “Comics Come Home 26” at TD Garden in Boston. She’s also performed at the Boston Comedy Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, and was named Burbank Comedy Festival’s “Best of the Fest”.
A welder by day and comic by night, Bernard performs throughout New England and was the runner-up at last year’s annual comedy contest at Lost Valley. Malik is a rising star in the New England scene and recently performed at the Boston Comedy Festival.
Dufault’s stories, impressions, and fun-loving personality have been winning audiences over from Portland to Bangor. Keene produces shows under Cat’s Meow Comedy. She also despises craft beer trends, and drives all over New England hunting for Milkshake IPAs.
Johnson Hall is located at 280 Water St. in Gardiner, ME. The show is for ages 21-plus and will contain adult language and content. Cash bar will be open.
